As our rental property is a couple of hundred kilometres away, our long-term tenants had vacated, and we are now retired, we found that it was difficult for us to manage the property ourselves, so we decided to dispose of the property.
We have had the fortunate experience of engaging and utilising Mike and Melanie to manage and potentially purchase our property located in Whenuapai Village, West Auckland.
They found us an excellent tenant, and negotiated a fair rent for the property.
We are impressed with the improvements that they have made to the grounds and to the internal decorations (at no cost to us). Mike and Melanie also have given us a very good and fair price for the property, and if they didn’t proceed with the purchase the house would have been returned to us in its improved state. They have however, successfully sold the property which is due to settle this week. (18 February 2005)
Regular feedbacks are important to owners and Mike and Melanie have excelled in this area, ensuring the rent is forthcoming, fixing any maintenance problems, giving us updates on what is happening, taken photos, (before and after) and have obtained another Registered Valuation of the property, (with our consent and no cost to us) which to our surprise has shown a significant increase in the value of the property.
We highly recommend Mike and Melanie.
